1. Reservation and Payment
1.1 A reservation for a retreat at Land aan Zee is final after:
- receipt of a confirmation email and
- payment of the (down) payment as stated below.
1.2 Down payment:
- Retreat start more than 3 months from now: € 100
- Retreat start less than 3 months from now: 100% of the total amount
1.3 The invoice amount must be paid within 14 days, but no later than the start of the retreat.
1.4 Any additional costs (such as supplementary meals, drinks, treatments, or bicycle rental) must be paid by debit card upon departure.
2. Cancellation by participant
- In the event of cancellation by the participant following confirmation of participation, the following payment obligations apply:
- More than 1 month before the start: € 100
- Less than 1 month before the start: 50% of the total amount
- Less than 2 weeks before the start: no refund possible
- No-show or early departure: no refund possible
- Cancellation must be done exclusively by email, stating name and retreat date.
3. Cancellation or modification by Land aan Zee
3.1 Land aan Zee reserves the right to modify a program or cancel a retreat in the event of insufficient registrations or for organizational reasons.
3.2 In the event of cancellation by Land aan Zee, the participant will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
3.3 In the event of cancellation due to force majeure (such as a pandemic, government measures, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances), 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
4. Liability
4.1 Stichting Land aan Zee is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal property.
4.2 Participation in retreats and stays on the grounds of Land aan Zee are at one’s own risk.
4.3 Participants are liable for damage caused by their actions to persons, property, or buildings of Land aan Zee.
5. Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to all agreements and disputes between the participant and Stichting Land aan Zee.
