The entire area is bustling with life: you can hear the owls calling, see the geese flying in large groups, the wind playing through the dune grass and the swallows chattering past the house. The endless views make you dream. And otherwise it is quiet here… At night you will be amazed by the starry sky and the well-preserved darkness on the island.
A stunning environment
There are also cozy seaside resorts, endless beaches, small villages with shops, markets, restaurants and other facilities nearby.
The harbor of Burghsluis is within walking distance. You can take a refreshing dip in the Oosterschelde or stare at the play of birds, wind, clouds, waves and blowing sand for hours. Before you know it, a sense of peace comes over you, you feel grounded and turned inward.
In Westenschouwen, just 4 km from here, you will find the well-known state forests that flow into the dunes and finally onto the beach. You can cycle everywhere and visit cozy seaside resorts, walk along the beach, or visit picturesque villages with markets, restaurants and other facilities.

A classic Zeeland agricultural barn, located next to the farm ‘Mon Plaisir’ was carefully restored in 2022. The new adjacent barns exude the same peace and authenticity.
