r3.0 Confluence – Bioregional Regeneration as Collapse Resilience

A confluence around the 2026 r3.0 online conference 

We’re grateful to once again host the Belgian r3.0 Confluence, a space where the global dialogue on bioregional regeneration and collapse resilience can truly land in place, in relationship, and in practice.

Our first Confluence in 2024 was one of the early local gatherings around the r3.0 conference. Since then, similar Confluences have begun to emerge across continents, as communities everywhere sense the need to meet locally around shared global questions. This growing network reflects a simple insight: while the challenges are planetary, the work of resilience and regeneration is always rooted in place.

The 2026 r3.0 Conference explores Bioregional Regeneration as Collapse Resilience through themes of Earth-centric biocultural kinship, knowledge and governance. Rather than following the conference alone behind a screen, we invite you to experience it together. Thinking, sensing and digesting what this means for our own landscapes, communities and responsibilities.

Our Confluence is not a typical conference. It is a shared learning journey and a living inquiry. A space where head, heart and body are welcome. Where global perspectives meet local realities. Where we slow down enough to notice what truly matters.

We gather people who feel the call to engage with these times, practitioners, leaders, facilitators, community builders and citizens who want to explore how resilience and regeneration can become tangible where they live and work.

If you feel the pull to make sense of these times in a grounded and relational way, you will likely feel at home here.

Who do we hope might join us?

• Transformative systems thinkers and leaders from business, academia, and local, regional, federal and European governance levels with a hunger for collaborative action toward greater collapse-aware regional resilience.
• Community organizers/leaders, activists & social change agents, social entrepreneurs with feet on the ground, hearts in communities and hands in projects.
• Change agents / facilitators / consultants / coaches who want to upgrade their offerings to better meet the enormity of the challenges of our global predicament and/or want to explore collaboration to help build individual alignment and collective coherence.
• Anybody with potential power, influence and/or funding access to support resilience and coherence-building efforts.
• Anyone with a yearning for deeper sensemaking & the courage to face reality.

• When: September, 7 – 8 – 9 – 10, including 3 overnight stays

• You will be welcomed between 14:00 and 15:00 on Sept. 7th
• End of confluence: 17:00 on Sept. 10th.

A lived experience with like-minded people in a beautiful place, where not only your brains but also your heart and body will be engaged.

Collapse Aware Framing & Collective Sensemaking, to deepen & widen the relevance of what you learn, and get clarity on where we are as a prerequisite for where we might go together.

Safe-enough space to explore consequences & emergent potentials together, as well as explore with others how to deal with the implications and emotional impact of our predicament.

Open Space for what you need during the conference to make the most of it. Because diverse people have diverse ways of processing, be it in group, individually, outside in nature, through creative processes, nurtured by silence, inspired by metaframes or by leafing through a book.

1. Register for the confluence (Given the limited number of places, your spot will only be reserved after you have received a confirmation from us)
2. Wait for the confirmation of your seat (within one week). You will receive a payment request.
3. Secure your seat by completing the payment.
4. The ticket for the online conference is included when you join us.
