VOL-Gastprogramma: ” Self-care and positive vibes weekend”

This autumn booster retreat offers deep rest and positive vibes: yoga, meditation, naps, beach walks, silence. A nourishing weekend filled with comfort, ease, and inspiration in every detail.

What to expect
This weekend is for You if you know that by mid November:

  • You will have had one too many meetings…
  • You will feel the need to recharge and have a weekend with after-lunch naps
  • You reckon you can be extremely comfortable to not take care of anyone but yourself for a weekend
  • You are very ready for yogic stretching, calming your mind with meditationand long (or very short) beach walks
  • You are absolutely fine with not cooking and not getting groceries for a weekend
  • You are dreaming of waking up without an alarm
  • You are very fine that you’ll be speaking English all weekend.

At all times, this weekend will feel safe, it will be fun and it will inspire you!
As with all Revealing Vajra Retreats and events, an overall sense of quality and ease will shine through in all elements.

Practical:
This retreat includes:

  • 2 nights in a really nice venue, walking distance to the beach (1km)
  • A vegetarian menu (GF and vegan possible)
  • 3 meals a day: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
  • Daily Yoga and Meditation Classes
  • Soundbath Session
  • Use of the sauna (at specific hours)
  • Use of mats, cushions, blankets: everything we need is there
  • You will learn a specific technique of meditation, breath work and movement to manage your stress levels: Introduction to the MindShift Method.

Trainer: Rachel Bonkink
Former COO turned full-time retreat leader and meditation teacher. Rachel has led over 100 international retreats in the past 14 years. She works with organisations like the European Commission on stress management and supports cancer patients with meditation.

Originally Dutch, born in Zeeland J
Grew up in Belgium and lived in Morocco, Dubai and Portugal. Recently back in Belgium where she teaches the meditation course Leren Mediteren and the MindShift method.

Asana wise, Rachel followed in person training with teachers like Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers, Bernie Clarke, Shiva Rea, and many less known old-school teachers.
Meditation wise, there’s inspiration from Tibetan Buddhism as well as the teachings from Rick Hanson and MBSR.
